Stephen Rae, an Australian videographer, photographer based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for six years, With over 20 years experience with NGOs and developing countries, include  , Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Indonesia,

Multi skilled in all facets of production productions, with Khmer Production crew assistance, I collaborate closely with clients to understand their key messaging,  required outputs and target audience to create a visual interesting informative film documentary and Photography. My focus is on producing short films and photography for local and international NGOs and good corporate citizens emphasising socio-economic programs overviews, impacts, beneficiaries, awareness campaigns, and corporate profiles.

 

My production kit includes drones, DSLRs, Sony High Definition Camera, Canon DSLR, gimbal, sliders, Go Pros, audio equipment, and portable lighting.

On Photography, event coverage of workshops forum, conferences I excel in, on-location in the field capturing program impacts, beneficiaries’ portraits, for online us and program libraries.

 

I'm committed to gender equality, empowerment and protection of women and young girls, Ending violence, emphasizing stories from impacted individuals and the benefits of NGO programs with greater inclusion for people with disabilities.

TV series produced include

The YLM Report; Yumi Lukatium Mosbi Program  An 8 part Documentary series over two years. A contemporary snapshot of Port Moresby while capturing the impacts of an Ausaid and Local Government in country programs on a range of social issues, youth training/ employment and the empowerment and protection of women in Port Moresby.

Telecommunications to a Tribal people

A two part Documentary series on the difficulties of construction, expectations and impacts of the coming of Telecommunication towers ( phone and Internet ) too remote rural populations in PNG's Western Province. A two year filming project aired on National TV.

Wokabaut PNG TV series, produced for Kundu 2 on Customs, Culture and Traditions of PNG. Follows the Journeys of Stephen Rae throughout the country. Includes festivals. Bride Price, Village Life

Mind Your Business TV Series for EMTV (National Broadcaster PNG) 4 part Pilot program series for EMTV as a forerunner to their Business Programs now on-air. Program sponsored by ANZ, Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce.
